Betty Riley, 72, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at Kennett.
Born Feb. 25, 1936, in Parma, Mo., daughter of the late Albert William and Truma Grace Brannon Foxx, she was a longtime employee of James Kahn's Department Store and a member of the Bakerville Church of Christ.
On Sept. 19, 1953, she married Byron Keith Riley, who preceded her in death on April 1, 2007.
Survivors include one son, Dwight Riley, of Kennett; one daughter, Judith Posey and husband, Charles, of Sherwood, Ark.; three sisters, Juanita Cain and Patricia Earnheart, both of Malden, Mo., and Sue Albright, of Eudora, Ark.; two grandchildren, Stephen and Michael Posey and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, Sept. 4, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with James Powell officiating.
Burial will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, in the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.
Memorials may be made to the Bakerville Church of Christ or the Paragould Children's Home.
