Born Oct. 1, 1921, in Brownwood, Mo., she was the daughter of the late William Hiram and Ida Mae Bess Conklin.
On May 15, 1939, in Arab, Mo., she married Marion Herman Bennett, who preceded her in death on June 15, 1974. She was also preceded in death by one son, L.B. Bennett; one daughter, Joy Loughary; two brothers, Monroe and Oscar Conklin and one sister, Lucinda Conklin.
Survivors include five daughters, Esther Duke, of Brosley, Mo., Annie Mae Brooks and Jeanette Reedy, both of Dexter, Ruby Beuler, of Qulin, Mo., and Barbara Walker, of Malden, Mo.; two sons, Noel and Bobby Bennett, of Dexter; 38 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Kent Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery at Arab.
