Hurchel Turner

Hurchel N. Turner, 89, of Parma, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at Golden Living Center in New Madrid, Mo.

Born Jan. 20, 1919, in Risco, Mo., son of the late Louie Turner, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in WWII.

Survivors include one son, Larry D. Turner and wife, Mary Jane, of Ocala, Fla.; one sister, JoAnn Mick, of Gladwin, Mich.; one grandson, Danm, of Reston, Va.; one granddaughter, Sonja C. Beatty, of Grand Bend Ontario, Canada, and two great-granddaughters, Kayla Turner, of Restin and Rio Beatty, of Grand Bend Ontario.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Norman Turner.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden, Mo.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
