Kevin Wade, 46, of Kirkwood, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Born Feb. 28, 1962, in Hayti, Mo., son of Jeff Wade and the late Ophelia Richardson Wade, he was a 1980 graduate of Kennett High School and a 1985 graduate of St. Louis University. He was a retired vice president of ticket sales with the St. Louis Cardinals and was a member of Bakerville Church of Christ.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jeff and Ella Wade, of Kennett; one brother, Mike Wade, of Kennett; one niece, Lydia Wade, of Springfield, Mo.; one nephew, Elliot Wade, of Kennett and special friend, Jo Nell Minton, of Kennett.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, H.J. and Ollie Wade and Bert and Emma Richardson.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with James Powell officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Mark Drish, Marty Atkins, John LaFrance, Dennis Pickard, Donnie Folkes and Mike Tidwell.
