Olivia Davis

Olivia E. "Butch" Davis, 80, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff.

Born Dec. 25, 1927, in Campbell, daughter of the late Thomas and Onie E. Veatch Blakeney, she was a cook at Hickory House in Poplar Bluff and a member of the Lone Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Lou Buhler, of Poplar Bluff; a half-sister, Leona Gunter, of Texas and a half-brother, Tom Blakeney, of Springfield, Mo.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 25, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with Bishop Kent Miller officiating.

Burial was in the Elder Cemetery at Campbell.
