Ines Lula Walton, 86, of Gideon, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at his residence.

Born Oct. 9, 1921, in Pollard, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Roxie Mae McFarland Irby.

In 1937 she married Arvil Welty, who preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 1966. She later married John Walton in 1981. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1998. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sylvia Welty; two sons, Troy Wayne and J.R. Welty; two sisters, Alma Cappelmann and Mable Jackson and one brother, Sherman Irby.

Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Skinner and husband, Winfred, of Gideon and Inez Blue, of El Paso, Ill.; one son, Tommy Welty and wife, Billie Joe, of Belleville, Mich.; one sister, Edna Harry, of Hillsboro, Mo.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Gideon, Mo., with the Rev. Earnest Puckett officiating.

Burial was in the Gravel Hill Cemetery at St. Francis, Ark.
