Joy Deck, 73, of Senath, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Senath Nursing Center.

Born Aug. 3, 1935, in Senath, she was the daughter of the late Allen M. and Bertha Doherty Douglass.

On Dec. 18, 1954, in Mississippi, she married Bobby Deck, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Robert Allen Deck, of Senath; one sister, Jane Mitchell, of Kennett; a son-in-law, Reggie Walker, of Kennett and one granddaughter, Megan Walker, of Kennett.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sally Ann Walker.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Friday, Aug. 22, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 23, at the First Baptist Church in Senath with the Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.

Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Don Wallace, Scotty Jackson, Tim Deck, Sonny Jackson, Joe Don Thompson and Butch Deck.
