Bobby was born in Kennett, June 10, 1927. In 1945 he married Geneva Lance then after 54 years of separation he remarried Geneva in 2003. Bobby served in W.W. II and the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and James Rogers, two brothers, Carol and Raymond "Bo" and a sister, Mavis.
He was a loving husband, father and brother and leaves behind his loving wife, Geneva; daughters and their husbands, Brenda (Vernon) Hollingsworth, Sebring, Cathy (Jim) Lunyou, West Plains, Mo., and Vicki (Larry) McClain, Erin, Tenn.; stepsons and their wives, Jack (Sandy) Jackson, Kokomo, Ind., Greg (Tammy) Akers, Kennett; stepdaughters Beverly and husband Andy Newhausen, Rockford, Ill., and Kimberly McGrew, Senath, Mo.; brother, Dewey and his wife Lorraine, Mount Vernon, Mo.; sisters and their husbands, Betty (Wayne) Cockburn, Florence, Ala., Patricia (Phil) Richards, Bellville, Mich., and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22, at Morris Funeral Chapel in Sebring, with a service to follow at 3 p.m.
