Janie Renfrow, 61, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Senath, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born Aug. 27, 1946, in Senath, daughter of the late William Daniel and Flora Shields Callahan, she was a 1964 graduate of Senath High School and a member of the Church of Christ.
On Sept. 17, 1965, in Senath, she married Gary Renfrow, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Brent Renfrow and wife, Robbin, of Memphis; one daughter, Melissa Taylor and husband, Steve, of Memphis; four brothers, Joe Callahan, of Senath, Gerald "Butch" Callahan, of Elkins, Ark., Jim Callahan, of Kennett, and Jerry Callahan, of Clio, Mich.; three sisters, Ollie McDaniel, of Arbyrd, Mo., Amy Vaughn, of Cardwell, Mo., and Shirley Nething, of Marmaduke, Ark., and five grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Taylor, and Robby, Rylee, and Jaci Renfrow.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Julia Parker and Eula Belle Emenhiser.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at the Church of Christ in Senath with Greg Pollock officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers were Terry Combs, Dean Livingston, Darrell Webb, Larry McDaniel, Lance Johns and Byron Small.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of the arrangements.
