The Dunklin County Sher-iff's Depart-ment continues to investigate the theft of copper from area irrigation pivots.

According to Sheriff Bob Holder, the investigation recently led to the arrest of three Kennett men, Jeffery H. Carnell, 22, Joshua P. Taylor, 22, and Joshua J. George, 20, as they attempted to take copper wire, value of at least $500 but less than $2,500, which was owned by an area farmer.

The three men are currently incarcerated at the Dunklin County Justice Center on a $25,000 cash only bond.
