Edna McCulley
Edna W. McCulley, 75, of Scott City, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born June 17, 1933, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of the late Joe Robinson and Jeffie Gaines, she was employed at Drury Southwest and a member if the Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

On Oct. 21, 1949, she married Mitchell Garland Kiplinger, who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1973. She later married James McCulley on Nov. 1, 1975. He preceded her in death on Jan 21, 1997. She was also preceded in death by one son; three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include five sons, Sammy Kiplinger, of Granada Hills, Calif., Bruce and Aubrey Kiplinger, both of Kennett, Mike Kiplinger, of Crystal City, Mo., and Randy Kiplinger, of Scott City; one daughter, Mary Houston, of Ottawa, Kan.; two brothers, Vester and Gay Robinson, both of Portageville and special friend, Buford Conder, of Kennett; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darren Larkin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
