Doyle Lott, 61, of Caruthersvile, Mo., died Monday, July 21, 2008, at New Madrid, Mo.
Born Jan. 29, 1947, in Lilbourn, Mo., son of the late William and Izola Lott, he was employed at Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid and a member of the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville.
On Feb. 18, 1968, in Leland, Ala., he married Karen Roberts, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Tammie Klutts and husband, Kevin, of Newburn, Tenn.; one brother, Charles Lott, of Lake Village, Ark.; three sisters, Linda Cook, of Collinsville, Miss., Thelma Whittle, of Lake Village and Sarah Benoit, of Pensacola, Fla., and two grandsons, Kyle and Cameron Klutts, of Newburn.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Lott.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 24, at the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville with the Rev. Doug Boyd officiating.
Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Kyle Klutts, Jim DeReign, Ben Baker, Earl Bullington, Donald Dodson and Ed Barnes.
Honorary pallbearers were Larry Cutler, Pete Mills and Shane Strawn..
John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
