James Kenneth McElroy, 82 of Cardwell, Mo., died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Egypt, Ark., son of the late Eugene and Vinnie Jones McElroy, he was a retired farmer and attended the Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell.
Survivors include one step-son, Darrell Stanley, of North Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Floyd McElroy; two sisters, Beatrice Gulley, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Betty Baldridge, of Monette, Ark., and one step-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Stanley McElroy; two sisters, Geniva Hathcoat and Fern Forkum and one step-grandson.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, July 25, at the Howard Funeral Home in Leachville, Ark.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 26, in the Cardwell Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating.
