Born Feb. 11, 1946, in Campbell, Mo., daughter of the late Lonzo Howard and Dorothy Jean Prentice Akridge, she was a member of Tatum Chapel in Peach Orchard, Mo.
On May 22, 1964, in Kennett, she married James Henry Vannasdall, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Maxine Crawford and husband, Jason, of Malden and Tina Vannasdall, of Clarkton, Mo.; four sisters, Phyllis Sims and Joyce Ellsworth, both of Malden, Judy Collins, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Anna Walbert, of Campbell; three brothers, James and Robert Akridge, both of Campbell and Jerry Akridge, of Gideon, Mo.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Vannasdall and four brothers, Wilburn Akridge, Terry Akridge, Donald Akridge and Lonzo Akridge, Jr.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Wednesday, July 23, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 24, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton.
