Arester Jones, 90, of Kennett, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Dec. 28, 1917, in Sardis, Miss., daughter of the late Burl and Roxie Hudson Hughes, she was a cook for Kennett Pubic Schools and a member of Victory Temple Church of God in Christ in Kennett.

Survivors include one son, James Underwood, of Indianapolis, Ind.; six grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mae Alice McClinton and one grandson, Johnny Underwood.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, July 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Elisha Pullen officiating.

Burial will follow in the Willoughby Cemetery.
