Charles Eliza Fisher, 70, of High Ridge, Mo., died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Mi.
Born Feb. 21, 1938, in Russellville, Ala., son of the late William E. and Bracie E. Flippo Fisher, he was a food service manager for ARA Services before his retirement.
On Feb. 20, 1955, in Hernando, Miss., he married Jackie O. Hays, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Nancy Jane Narup, of Fenton, Mo.; one son, Kenneth Ray Fisher, of High Ridge; one sister, Clara Faye Marcrum, of High Ridge and one granddaughter, Michele Lee Narup, of Fenton.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Dale Fisher and one brother, William Earl Fisher.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 11, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville, Mo., with the Rev. Jim Pilcher officiating.
Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Tommy and Gary Allen, Tommy Hutcheson, Greg and Jerry Hays and Tony Tharp.
