Michael Holdren, 53, of Bragg City, Mo., died Thursday, July 3 at John Cochran V.A. Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Born Jan. 10, 1955, at Oxford, England, son of Murle and Patricia Birmingham Holdren, he was a veteran with the U.S. Navy and an alderman at Bragg City.

On April 10, 1973, he married Sandra Collins who survives the home.

Other survivors include his mother; two sons, Corey and Josh Holdren of Bragg City; two daughters, Sarah and Rachael Holdren of Bragg City; two brothers, Mark and Steve Holdren of Omaha, Neb., and David Holdren of Oxford, England; a sister, Marilyn Heath of Navarre, Fla.; three grandchildren, Ian, Kaleb, and Emma Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Tina Kirby.

Visitation was Monday, July 7, 2008 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, July 8, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.

Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Pallbearers will be Robert, Chris, and Allen Collins, Kenny Scott, Daniel Owens, and Camden Wake.
