Volin-Davis

Kathie Lynn Volin and Jason Davis of Kennett were married at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the grooms' mother home on 2411 South Avenue in Kennett.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Debbie Moore of Sommerville, Tenn., and Scott and Linda Volin of Chicago, Ill., and the granddaughter of Hazel Poff and the late Robert Poff of Puxico, Mo., Mary Volin and the late Frank Volin of Chicago, Dorothy Gage and the late Monroe Gage of Wappapello, Mo., and Joe and Arlene Slaga of Chicago.

She is a 1996 graduate of Holcomb High School and is currently employed as a landscaper for Bootheel Tree and Lawn Service in Kennett.

The groom is the son of Judy Davis of Kennett and Roger and Elda Davis of Cardwell, Mo., and the grandson of Getta Pearl and the late Marshall Pearl and Francis Davis and the late Bud Davis, all of Kennett.

He is a 1996 graduate of Holcomb High School and is currently employed as an electrician /carpenter in Kennett.

A reception was held in the new Vikings Club (the old Tin Cup Golf Course) behind Wilcoxson's Furniture on the South By-pass.
