Jean Shaffer, 76, of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at St. Bernards Regional, Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born May 5, 1932, in Campbell, daughter of the late Bud and Mary Pitts Pritchett, she was a homemaker and of the General Baptist faith.
On Nov. 30, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., she married Tom Shaffer, who preceded her in death on April 15, 1993. One son, John Shaffer and two sisters, Wanda Eskew and Donna Finder, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Tim Shaffer and wife, Laura Jean, of Campbell; one daughter, Debbie Waller, of Sikeston, Mo.; one sister, Elona Gooding, of Panama City, Fla.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 5, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Leonard DeSpain officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
