Born Feb. 23, 1925, in Bucoda, Mo., son of the late Dewey and Vivian Cooper Faulkner, he was a U.S. Army veteran having served in WWII.
On Nov. 29, 1941, he married Linda Gibson, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Bill Faulkner and wife, Dianne, of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one daughter, Latina Hampton and husband, Richard, of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Paul Wayne Faulkner, of Imperial, Mo., and Bobby Faulkner, of Westview, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Willa May Faulkner, of Oak Grove, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Don Faulkner; three brothers, Snooks, C.D. and Harold Faulkner and two sisters, Jean Thompson and Betty Sue Faulkner.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, July 2, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 3, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ron Tate and Paul Wayne Faulkner officiating.
Burial will follow in the McGrew Cemetery at Senath, Mo.
Pallbearers are Randall Gibson, Roger and Carl Faulkner, Gregory and Lonnie Gibson and Mike Vance.
Honorary pallbearers are Mike Rister, David Ross, Shelby Gene Gibson, Lonnie Gibson Jr., and Steve Brown.
