Dorothy Louise Goodwin, 85, of Kennett, died Monday, June 23, 2008, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born April 21, 1923, in Senatobia, Miss., daughter of the late Herman and Percy Carlisle Tyler, she was a 1941 graduate of Caruth High School.
She married Jack Goodwin, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Gene, Bud, Leon and Gaylon Tyler and four sisters, Robbie Hastings, Troy Tyler, Flo LeDesky and Ruth McAnally.
Survivors include one brother, Louis Tyler, of Pickwick, Tenn.; one sister, Mary Kitchens and husband, Donald, of Kennett and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Charles Crawford officiating.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery at Senath, Mo.
Pallbearers were Odell Hastings, Darren Bruce, Glen Kitchens, Herman Prenzel, Barry Kirby and Lonnie Cooper.
