Born June 12,1956, in Hayti, son of Climitee Wells and the late Sam Wells, he was a U S. Army veteran.

Survivors also include five children, Milton Earl Wells Jr., of Junction City, Kan., Denisah Lakay Wells, Qwashawn and Laquisha Brady and Corneilus Green, all of Hayti; his mother, Climitee Wells, of Hayti, and 13 brothers and sisters, Flora Thomas, Elic Wells and wife, Verna Mae, Barbara Lowry and husband, Dennis, Fred Patterson Sr., all of Hayti, Mo., Bobbie Jones and husband, Artur, of Wardell, Mo, .Alvin Wells, of Columbia, Mo., Fannie Wilkerson, Ora Hayes, Pearl Alexander and husband, Dewayne and Sandra Milbrant and husband, Wayne, all of Chicago, Ill., Phillis Sims and Aaron Patterson, both of St. Louis, Mo., and Levon Patterson Sr., and wife, Jackie, of Homestown, Mo.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Sammie, Joe and Charles Wells.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 21, at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Hayti with the Rev. James Stevenson officiating.
Burial with military honors was in the Mount Hope Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were Tony and Lemon Hayes, Fred Patterson Jr., Antonio Wells, James Alexander, Lonnie Wilkerson and Bob Jones.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
