Frank Farless, 79, of Kennett, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Sept. 11, 1928, in Flint, Mich., son of the late Eugene Arthur and Donnie Mary Dillingham Farless, he was employed at Caldwell Vending Company and was a member of Slicer Street Church of Christ.

On March 21, 1947, he married Vernon Cox, who preceded him in death on March 2, 1994. He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Barbara Horton, Mary Ann Rhew, Margaret Russell and Kitty Farless.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Karnes, of Benton, Ark., and Kim Key, of Kennett; one brother, Walter Farless, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two sisters, Alice Sellers, of Wheatland, Mo., and Edna Rhew, of Radcliff, Ky.; four grandchildren, April and Stephen Karnes, Terry Don Key and Amy Seagraves and two great-grandchildren, Carter Key and Addy Seagraves.

Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, June 22, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with Spencer Furby officiating.

Pallbearers were Leonard Boggs, George Archer, Rick Gore, Matt Hodges, Jeff Bridges and Spencer Furby.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
