Carrie Ford, 70, of Kennett, Mo., died Friday, June 20, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born September 29, 1937 in Kennett, Mo., daughter of the late Amos Franklin Rudd and Cora Mae Luttrull Rudd, she was owner an operator of Fords Hot Tamales and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Kennett.
On September 22, 1955, she married Billy Joe Ford, who survives the home.
Other survivors include a son, Joseph David Ford and wife, Anna Marie of Kennett; three daughters, Delores Mae Bane and husband, Rick, Paula Ford Parnell, and Rebecca Lynn Armstrong and husband, Terry, all of Kennett; a brother, Willie Rudd of Kennett; two sisters, Shirley Jaco of Senath, Mo., and Vicki Wright of Ashville, N.C.; 14 grandchildren, Tina Michelle McClish of Indianapolis, Ind., Kristen Nicole Callis, Rebecca Leigh Branum, Jessica Dawn Ford, Joshua David Ford, Heather LaShay Armstrong, Justice Anthony Armstrong, all of Kennett, Michael Paul Bane of Atlanta, Ga., Nina Nicole Jamison of Paragould, Ark., and Samantha Jo, William Alexander and Makayla Kensington Parnell, all of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; seven great-grandchildren; Mackenzie Kohl Crawford and Rylee Montgomery Jamison of Paragould, Kera Nicole Bane of Little Rock, Ark., Elizabeth Grace and Jakob Don Callis of Kennett, and Jaxson Douglas McClish of Indianapolis, Ind.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Mairl Rudd.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, June 23 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 24 at 1st Assembly of God Church in Kennett.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers will include Joshua Ford, Nicholas Parnell, Junior Jaco, Amos Rudd, and Bobby Joe Luttrull.
