Helen Kinder, 92, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Malden.

Born Sept. 2, 1915, in Townley, Mo., daughter of the late Clyde and Clara Mae Mitchell Corn, she was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church in Malden.

In Dec. 1936, she married Orion Wesley Kinder, who preceded her in death on July 25, 1969. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Teeters, Jewell Knots and Shirley Ryman.

Survivors include two daughters, Jonelle Irvin and husband, Gary, of Malden and Jane Matthews and husband, Jim, of River Falls, Wis.; two sons, Wayne Kinder, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dale Kinder and wife, Carol, of Black Rock, Ark.; three sisters, Wanda Matthews, of Malden, Betty Gray, of Columbia, Mo., and Sue Ann Webster, of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Harold "Pat" Corn, of Bradford, Ill., and Sherman Corn, of Boissier City, La.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, June 20, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 21, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Starnes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery at Bernie, Mo.
