Charles "Poss" Cato, 73, of Monette, Ark., died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born in Cardwell, Mo., son of the late Ritchard and Esther Hart Cato, he was a U. S. veteran of the Korean War and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Coburn Cato, of Monette; five sons, David Cato, Stacy Cato and wife, Dee Dee, and Kelly Cato and wife, Julie, all of Little Rock, Ark., and Monty Montgomery and wife, Donna, of Jonesboro; two daughters, Heather Lee and husband, Wesley, of Perryville, Ark., and Mitzi Pierce and husband, Chris, of Jonesboro; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Cato and two sisters, Olean Holcomb and Ella May Jarrett.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, June 10, at the Howard Funeral Home in Leachville.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., in the Monette Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Reed officiating.
Pallbearers will be James Estes, David Vaughn, Bob Peel, Joe Lawrence, Jerry Estopy and Gilbert Rojas.
