CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. -- A strong-arm robbery took place at Caruthersville around 8 a.m. this morning.

Dunklin County dispatcher James Foster alerted area officials that a white male, approximately 6 ft., 160 lbs., fled the scene of the robbery in a white van.

According to the dispatch, the man was driving a white van with a ladder rack. Foster said the caller was able to get a partial license plate number displaying the letters NEB.

Calls placed to the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department yielded no response as to where the robbery took place.
