Anah Lee Moore, 85, of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at her residence.
Born Jan. 29, 1923, in Mariana, Ark., daughter of the late Jesse D. and Carrie Paul Wilson, she was a nurses aide at the University of Chicago Hospital and a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Malden.
In 1964 she married Calvin Moore, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Oscar and Garfery Wilson and one sister, Isabell Starker.
Survivors include eight sisters, Gladys Walker, of Chicago, Ill., Esther Goodman and Ora L. Wilson, both of Malden, Rachel Wilson, of Atlanta, Ga., Doris and Grace Wilson, both of Kokomo, Ind., Patricia Lacey and husband, Allen, of Kennett and Gladys Johnson and husband, Terry, of Long Beach, Calif.; three brothers, Glen David Wilson and wife, Shirley, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ronnie D. Wilson and wife, Denise, of Pasadena, Calif., and Terry Wilson and wife, Nena, of Puyallub, Wash., and nine step-children.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 7, at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 7, at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Cleveland Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery at Malden.
