David Allen Kean, 43, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at his residence.

Born April 4, 1965, in Malden, son of Junior Kean and the late Rose Mary Hampton Kean, he was a farmer and attended the Assembly of God Church in Qulin, Mo.

On April 24, 1985, in Gray Ridge, Mo., he married Beverly Ann Mullins, who survives.

Survivors also include two daughters, Dawn Reail Ellsworth and husband, Bryan, of Wappapello, Mo., and Kelsey Paige Mullins, of Malden; two brothers, Larry Kean and wife, Cookie, and Bobby Kean, all of Malden; seven sisters, Mary Taylor, Barbara Tapp and husband, Jimmy, Connie Cravens, Shirley Nunn, Georgia Wagoner and Judy Dalomba and husband, J.D., all of Malden and Jackie Lively and husband, Terry, of Campbell, Mo.; his father, James Kean, of Malden and two grandchildren, Tyler Kean and Madison Ellsworth, both of Wappapello.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Kean and one sister, Vickie Kean.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Earnest Puckett officiating.

Burial was in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
