Oca E. Gilliam, 83, of Dexter, Mo., died Friday, May 30, 2008, at Cypress Point Nursing Center in Dexter.

Born July 21, 1924, in Faulkner, Ark., daughter of the late Henry and Amanda Bean Humphrey, she was employed at Federal Mogul and was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Church in Dexter.

On Aug. 27, 1945, she married Lee Roy Gilliam, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ivean and Elbert Gilliam; three brothers, Floyd, Harvell and Raymond Humphrey.

Survivors include one son, Andy Gilliam and wife, Marilyn, of Dexter; two daughters, Maxine Carlton, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Merry Kelley, of Moore, Okla., and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, June 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
