Brooks-Alsup

John "Chico" Alsup of Holcomb, Mo., and Connie Brooks of Kennett were married at 1 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2008, at the groom's residence with Phillip Bartholemew of Holcomb officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Geneva Williams of Kennett and the granddaughter of Samuel and Tilda Pace and Robert and Katie Wiliams, all of Kennett.

She is currently employed as a counselor at Family Counseling.

The groom is the son of Dalton and Iola Alsup of Kennett and the grandson of Pleas and Pearl McWilliams.

He is self-employed.

Maid of honor was Rebecca Brooks, daughter of the bride, of Senath, Mo., and Connie Harris, daughter of the groom, of Holcomb was a bridesmaid.

J.B. Harris, grandson of the groom, of Holcomb served as best man and Escedro Guerrero, friend of the groom, was a groomsman. A reception will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, May 31, at the Community Center in Holcomb.

Friends and family are welcome. No invitations are being sent. The couple reside in Holcomb.
