Denny and JoAnn Haddock of Arbyrd, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter Alicia Ann Haddock to Matthew Ryan Walton, son of Mitch and Terri Walton of Pocahontas, Ark.

The bride to be is a 2004 graduate of Senath-Hornersville High School and a 2008 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with a degree in elementary education.

The is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Haddock of Hollywood, Mo., and Floyd Reeves and the late Syble Reeves of Leachville, Ark.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Pocahontas High School and a 2007 graduate of Harding University with a degree in advertising. He is currently employed by Hytrol Conveyor Company in Jonesboro, Ark.., and is also the owner of Matthew Walton Photography in Pocahontas.

He is the grandson of Joyce Walton and the late Joe Walton of Walnut Ridge, Ark., and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Futrell of Pocahontas.

The wedding will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Senath Church of Christ in Senath, Mo., with Mel Futrell of Birmingham, Ala. officiating.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
