Deltha Lorene McNutt, 87, of Bragg City, Mo., died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center .
Born April 26, 1921, in Poughkeepsie, Ark., daughter of the late John Harrison and Vera Lee Watkins Nichols, she was a homemaker and she worked at the Kennett Day Activity Center. She was a member of the Bakerville Church of Christ.
On Oct. 22, 1939, in Bragg City, she married Woodrow McNutt, who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1994. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Windol and Jerry McNutt and one sister, Nina Harrelson.
Survivors include four sons, John " J.W." McNutt and wife, Lee, of Senath, Mo., Tom McNutt and wife, Sue Bates McNutt, of Lowry City, Mo., Wesley McNutt, of Bakerville, Mo., and Winston McNutt, of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Lynette Davis and husband, Bill, and Linda Chancellor, all of Malvern, Ark., LaDonna Durham, of Dallas, Texas and Sue McNutt, of Bragg City; one brother, Pascal Nichols and wife, Joan, of Columbus, Ind.; one sister, Melva Lee Nicholas, of Kennett; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, May 20, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett with James Powell officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Bill Blankenship, Damon Bush, Tommie Smith, Brock Atwill, George Jordan and Ryan Bauschlicher.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Wade, Johnny Paul and Donald Watkins, Floyd Owen and J.L. Oswalt.
