Leon Moore

Leon Moore, 82, of Jonesboro, Ark., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born July 2, 1925, in Malden, son of the late W.M. and Alma Eaker Moore, he was employed at Malden Furniture Store and was a member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church in Malden.

On Feb. 8, 1945, in Malden, he married Ruby Arlene Pyle, who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Debbie Earnheart and husband, Danny, of Jonesboro; one sister, Lela Cooper, of Dexter, Mo.; two grandchildren, Brian Earnheart and Sarah Earnheart, both of Jonesboro, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, May 16, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 17, at the Landess Funereal Home Chapel with the Revs. Floyd Pyle and James Hamlett officiating.

Burial will follow in the Stevens Cemetery at Malden.
