Mary Chappell, 82, of Gideon, Mo., formerly of Wardell, Mo., died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at the Gideon Nursing Home.

Born Aug. 18, 1925, in Caruthersville, Mo., daughter of the late William and Ida Berry Camp, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wardell.

On March 4, 1966, in Wardell, she married Marion Chappell, who survives.

Survivors also include one brother, Boyd Camp, of Hayti, Mo.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Lillie Watkins, Pearl Watkins, Martha Summers and Dorothy Ratliff and four brothers, James, George, Elmer and Ivey Camp.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m., today, Tuesday, May 13, at the Brimhall Funeral Home in Wardell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, at the Brimhall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Griff Walker officiating.

Pallbearers are Bill Crabtree, Leon Curtis, John Hankins, Lee Edward, Tony and Norris Watkins.
