Quinton and Cindy Anthony of Kennett announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonia Anthony, to Teddy Simmons, son of the late Willie and Kathy Simmons.

The bride to be will graduate in this year from Holcomb High School and plans to attend TRCC in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She is currently employed at Burger King in Kennett.

She is the granddaughter of Ailene Anthony of Kennett and Ann Wilson of Senath, Mo.

The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Kennett High School and is currently employed at Briggs & Stratton in Poplar Bluff.

He is the grandson of the late D.J. Samples, Jr. and Linda Damron and late Eddie Samples and Rosie Simmons.

The ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2008, at First Community Temple Church of Christ in Kennett.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
