Larry Dale Alexander, 64, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Monday, May 5, 2008, at his residence.

Born July 9, 1943, in Saltillo, Tenn., son of the late Ernest Howard and Clara Creasy Alexander, he was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from the National Screw Company in St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sisters, Mary Goff, of Sardis, Tenn., Evelyn Land, of Overland, Mo., Gail McMillen, of Portageville, Mo., and Margaret Figgins, of Caruthersville; one brother, Paul Alexander, of Caruthersville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be May 17, in the Corinth Cemetery at Saltillo.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
