Born Sept. 9, 1927, in Kennett, son of the late Ernest E. and Nina B, Anthony Lloyd, he was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from City Light Gas and Water. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett.
Survivors include one brother, Lanny Lloyd, of Bakersfield, Calif., a sister-in-law, Shirley Lloyd, of Florida; two nephews, Jeff Lloyd, of Massachusetts and Kenny Lloyd, of Texas and two nieces, Melanie Lloyd, of Springfield, Mo., and Mary Gaye Anderson, of Florida.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lloyd.
Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sunday, May 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 12, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
