Howard Cathey, 88, of Piedmont, Mo., died Tuesday, May 7, 2008, at his residence.

Born Dec. 1, 1919, in Wardell, Mo., he was retired from McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, Mo.

On Oct. 15, 1966, in Kahokia, Ill., he married Dewella "DeeDee" Magouirk, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Howard Cathey, Jr., of Wentzville, Mo.; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, May 9, at the Morrison-Worley Funeral Home in Piedmont.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at the Morrison-Worley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Ruble officiating.

Burial will follow at 5 p.m. in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
