Minnie Mae Grubbs Burnett, 80, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Nov. 25, 1927, in Senath, Mo., daughter of the late Henry J. and Cora Lee Fuller Grubbs, she was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include one son, Harold Grubbs, of Kennett; one brother, Carl Franklin Grubbs, of Overland, Mo.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 6, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville, Mo. with Pastor Hubert Robinson officiating.

Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
