Jirden Ray Lane, 58, of Senath, Mo., died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at his residence.

Born Jan. 31, 1950, in Senath, he was the son of the late Howard and Bernice Autry Lane.

On June 30, 1972, in Senath, he married Pat Chailland, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Toby Lane and wife, Charity, of Senath; one daughter, Laura Fletcher and husband, Michael, of Leachville, Ark.; two brothers, Pete Lane and wife, Dorothy, of Clarksdale, Miss., and Joe Lane and wife, Linda, of Senath; four sisters, Lula Gail Wommack and Margie Crites and husband, Jerry, all of Kennett, Willie Barham, of Hornersville, Mo., and Rita Wildy and husband, Paul, of Leachville and three grandchildren, Katie Fletcher, and T.J. and Toby Joe Lane.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Wednesday, May 7, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Revs. Dale Rickman and Vernon Purser officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Butch Deck, Danny Keen, Steve Odle, David Ross, Mardon Layne and Billy Charles Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Dale Odle, Allen Brewer, Sonny Krantz, Bill Anderson, Richard Ozbun and Jim Baker.
