Timothy Edward Alsup and Chrissie Michelle Abbott of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Kennett were married at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the Oak Grove Heights Baptist Church in Oak Grove with David Stallings officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Cindy Smith of Kennett and Tim Smith of St. Louis, Mo. and the granddaughter of Julie Patton and the late Gerald Patton of Kennett and Margaret Langston and the late Paul Langston of St. Louis. She is homemaker.

The groom is the son of Sharon Alsup and the late Clyde Alsup of Kennett and the grandson of the late Dalton and Iola Alsup and the late Roy and Viola Walters, all of Kennett. He is employed at Monroe in Paragould.

Matron of honor was Jenifer Ragins and flower girl was Layla, daughter of the bride and groom. Brandon, son of the bride and groom, served as ringbearer.

Best man was Stephen Ragins. Wil Jackson served as usher.

Rachel Ross presided at the registry book.
