Pauline Stone, 88, of Kennett, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Jan. 30, 1920, in Kennett, daughter of the late Jim Batchlor and Elsie Mae Sullivan Lawson, she was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
On Feb. 23, 1939, in Kennett, she married James Wilford Stone, who preceded her in death on March 26, 1986. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Glenda Sue Stone; two sisters, June Frederick and Joyce Colbert and one grandson, David Ivy.
Survivors include two sons, Wilford Stone and wife, Beverly, of Kennett and Gary Stone and wife, Shirl, of Wappapello, Mo.; one daughter, Phyllis Jackson, of Kennett; two sisters, Margaret Lewis and Shirley Bogle, both of Kennett; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, May 2, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 3, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Bogle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Scott and Michael Ivy, and Jeff, Kyle, Timmy and Jason Stone.
