Deborah Stokley of Kennett received the Business Administration Award. Presenting the award was Terri Smith of the TRCC faculty. Stokley is a 1971 graduate of Caruthersville High School, is married to Jimmy D. Stokley of Kennett, and is the daughter of Charles and Irene Bostic of Cape Girardeau.
Three Rivers President Dr. John F. Cooper presided at the event. Dr. Larry Kimbrow, Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs, also participated in the ceremony. Rhonda Meloy, Three Rivers Teacher of the Year and recipient of the Governor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, was the guest speaker. Meloy is an instructor in the Three Rivers nursing program.
Cooper said those honored at the April 21 ceremony were among Three Rivers' "best and brightest."
"We are very, very proud this evening," Cooper said. "The students receiving honors are the students who have achieved and excelled in their various programs."

Duh! What is a Business Administration award anyway? The article didn't say she graduated or what. Not much information here. Also, I think the writer doesn't even know how to spell the recipient's name correctly. He or she couldn't have much interest in the award, now could he/she?
Way to go Sis.
Congratulations Mrs. Stokely!!!!!
