Lois A. Rogers, 87, of Kennett, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Nov. 19, 1920, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Moore Williams, she was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
On June 4, 1944, she married Harry Rogers, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Gaylon Rogers and wife, Charrey, of Blytheville, Ark.; two brothers, Carl Williams and wife, Barbara, of Kennett and Odell Williams, of Macon, Ga.; two grandchildren, Brittney Mills and husband, Ricky, of Benton, Ark., and Hannah Rogers, of Blytheville and one great-grandchild, Cooper Mills, of Benton.
She was preceded in death by one son, Randy Rogers; one brother, Gerald Williams and one sister, Rita Williams.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, April 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett,
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 1, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Toby Lane, Ricky Mills, Mark Simmons, Kellen Storey, Brent Carr and Larry Rogers.
Honorary pallbearer is Jim Baker.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life or Shady Grove Baptist Church in Kennett.
