Cletis Staggs, 64, of Kennett, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at Kennett.
Born Jan. 1, 1944, in Corning, Ark., son of the late Elmer and Leona Jones Staggs, he was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Kennett.
On Aug. 16, 1986, in Sikeston, Mo., he married Gail Hess, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Ricky Beaird and wife, April, of Holcomb, Mo.; two daughters, Melissa Finney and husband, William and Tammy Marshall and husband, Matt, all of Kennett; three brothers, Winford Staggs, of Angleton, Texas, Sterling Staggs, of Paragould, Ark., and Bob Staggs, of Jackson, Mo.; two sisters, Vernalee Ray, of Kennett and Bernice Murphy, of Blytheville, Ark., and six grandchildren, Josh and Ashley Finney, and Abby and Gavin Prewitt, all of Kennett and Zachery and Katie Beaird, of Holcomb.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Dewayne Staggs.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, April 29, at the Full Gospel Church in Kennett with the Rev. Dan Evans officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Ricky Beaird, Jim Hess, Tony Holliman, Jerry Hamm, Steven Street and Bill Patterson.
Honorary pallbearers were Tony Carnell and Kelly Brooks.
Memorials may be made to the Untied Way of Kennett.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
