Michelle Nelson and Ernest Ross of Kennett announce the birth of their son, Korbin Gage Ross, born March 26, 2008, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He weighed 5 pounds and 11 1/2 ounces and was 18 inches long.

He is the grandson of Sandra and Johnny Nelson, the late Timmy Nelson, Della and Louis Childress and the late Ernest Ross III, all of Kennett.
