Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by three sisters, Victoria Hargett, Christina Vienda Robertson and Betty Jenkins.
Survivors include five daughters, Renee McKinnon, of Dade City, Kimberly Jenkins, of Clyde N.C., Holly Jenkins, of Monticello, Ga., Danette Flannery, of Ruskin, Fla., and Mayola Mitchell, of Senath, Mo.; one son, Dale Dunn, of Ruskin; five grandchildren, Kassidy and Elyssa McKinnon, both of Dade City, Madison Dunn and Riley and Zachary Flannery, all of Ruskin; one brother, Richard Jenkins, of Kennett; 10 sisters, Bertha Dozier and Patricia Forgue, both of Covington, Ga., Wondia Wolfe, of Oakley, Ill., Ellen Beams, of Wyconda, Mo., Sue McCallister, of Belleville, Ill., Peggy Campbell, of Decatur, Ill., Margrett Jenkins, of Kennett, Bonnie Tilton, of Jacksonville, Fla., Mary Gardner, of Caruth, Mo., and Rebecca Martin, of Holly Springs, Miss., and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Visitation was held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 14, at the Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City with the Rev. Billy J. Denton officiating.
Mr. Jenkins cremation was handled by the Cremation Center in Zephyrills, Fla. His ashes will be spread on the Little Manattee River, one of his favorite places to fish and camp in Ruskin.
Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will be greatly missed.
