Ruby Johnson, 85, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, April 21, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born April 12, 1923, in Mt. Pleasant, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Bertie Anderson Shaver.
Survivors include one son, Joe Johnson and wife, Deronda, of Senath; four daughters, Shirley Miller and husband, Richard and Connie Edwards and husband, Gale, all of Cardwell, Mo., Sheila Huckabee, of Senath and Linda Osburn, of Bald Knob, Ark.; two brothers, Noble Shaver, of Kennett and James Shaver, of Senath; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and many several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Thursday, April 24, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. James Winkle officiating.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Don Thompson, Matthew Davidson, Sean Winkle, Jerry Holder, Jeff McCormick and Bobby Rhodes III.
Honorary pallbearers were Melinda Holder and Candie Edwards.
