James Donald Riley, 75, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born March 19, 1933, in Henderson, Tenn., son of the late Thomas Franklin and Ola Mae Ivy Riley, he was a member of the Crossroads Worship Center in Braggadocio, Mo.
On May 8, 1987, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Brenda Riley, who survives.
Survivors also include four sons, Donald Riley and wife, Valerie, of Friendship, Tenn., Ricky Riley and wife, Cindy, of Caruthersville, Allen Fisher and wife, Marsha, of Denton, Mo., and Brian Fisher and wife, Lindy, of Fairbanks, Alaska; one daughter, Alicia Jeffers and husband, Matthew, of Deering, Mo.; one brother, Willie Dewayne Riley, of Marion, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Matthew and Curtis Riley, Ricky Lynn Riley, Jr., Chad Allen, Justin Garrett, Lauren Danielle and Sean Robert Fisher and Abigail Jean and Charlotte Lee Jeffers and one great-grandchild, Alayna Kae Falyne Riley.
He was preceded in death by one brother, D. Riley and three sisters, Christine and Mary Inez Riley and Virginia Faye Yerbe.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 18, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with Brother Glynn Davis officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Joe Tate, Bobby Ayers, Larry Thompson, Matthew Jeffers, Tom Kelly and Jerry Green.
